Part-Time CRNA | Williamsport, PA

Position Overview

Part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at UPMC Williamsport in Williamsport, PA for 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthetic care for cardiac, plastics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, and pediatric cases.
• Perform pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation, anesthesia induction maintenance and emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia clinical support.
• Assume accountability for controlled substances per department, hospital, state, and federal guidelines.
• Assist with teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Participate in quality improvement processes through documentation, incident reporting, and education.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required. Master's degree preferred. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. Board certified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire. BLS or CPR required.
