Per Diem Anesthesiologist | Burlington, NC

Position Overview

Per diem General Anesthesiologist position in Burlington, NC starting December 2026. Supervised anesthesia care model with 40 hours per week across 5 shifts.

Schedule and Call

5 shifts per week with 8-hour days (7a-3p, 7a-5p, 7a-7p). Call required 1-2 times per week with occasional 24-hour weekend call and 30-minute response time.

Case Mix

General, vascular, neuro, OB, GYN, urology, healthy pediatric dental, ENT, cataracts, ortho (no totals), and endoscopy. Spinals, blocks, and epidurals required.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years anesthesiology experience. Active unrestricted North Carolina medical license, NC DEA, AHA ACLS/PALS/BLS. Case logs required. Ability to work in supervised model and float between sites.

Compensation

1099 contract with weekly estimated pay of $10,996-$12,218. No employee benefits.
