Position Overview

Per diem Anesthesiologist position in Rock Island, IL with GHR United Anesthesia. Role involves specific dates across January through May 2026 with 90-120 day credentialing.

Schedule and Call Requirements

Hours vary by site: 7a-3p, 3p-5p, or 5p-7p. Call is 7p-7a or 5:30p-7a depending on site, with limited OR call and occasional backup call. 20-minute response time required.

Practice Model and Responsibilities

Model includes MDs and CRNAs with some supervision and performing own cases. Cases include peds, general, ortho, uro, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, cardiac, endo, vascular, GYN, and pain management. Spinals, blocks, and epidurals required. Case logs needed for proof of epidurals, spinals, and blocks. Cardiac/TEE experience preferred but not required. Local candidates preferred.

Facility Details

3 MDs and 10 CRNAs on staff. 4-5 ORs depending on site. EMR is EPIC.

Requirements

ACLS certification required (AHA issued).
