Position Overview
Full-time CRNA position at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. Administers anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, and pain procedures under physician supervision in a collaborative model.
Qualifications
Master's degree from an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia school required. APRN license in Louisiana, AANA certification, and BCLS from American Heart Association required. No prior work experience needed.
Key Responsibilities
Document procedures and incidents. Assess patients before, during, and after anesthesia. Ensure safety using accepted techniques. Act as liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, patients, and families. Participate in quality assurance and professional development.
Schedule
Flexible schedule including 24/7, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability.
Compensation
$75K sign-on bonus available.
