Position Overview

Pediatric anesthesiologist role at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. MD-only practice model at a single pediatric center with full spectrum cases including arterial lines, central lines, regional anesthesia, and neuraxial anesthesia.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation is $625,000 for pediatric and $675,000 for pediatric cardiac. Benefits include 8 weeks vacation, dedicated CME time, guaranteed post-call days, paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance, 401(k) with up to 6% employer contribution, health and welfare benefits, flexible spending accounts, parental leave, educational assistance, and relocation assistance up to $12,000. Eligible for student loan forgiveness and sign-on bonus. No non-compete clause.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Supportive call schedule with no in-house call or call back. Approximately one first call every other week, one second call every other week, and one weekend call per month.

Qualifications

Completion of accredited anesthesiology residency required. Board eligibility or certification in anesthesiology required. Pediatric fellowship required. Cardiac training preferred for heart team.
