Position Overview

Anesthesiologist position at Advocate Sherman Hospital, a 255-bed Level II community hospital in Elgin, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across a robust case mix including OB, general surgery, vascular, ortho, ENT, GYN, plastics, and trauma. Roughly half of cases performed under 1:3 medical direction and half as MD-only.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency. Board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology.

Compensation & Benefits

$600,000 annual compensation. 8 weeks vacation with guaranteed post-call days off. Paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance. No noncompete clause. Eligible for student loan forgiveness or sign-on bonus. Health, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability. 401(k) with up to 6% employer contribution. Relocation assistance up to $12,000. Schedule & Call Requirements

First call approximately every other week with guaranteed post-call day off.
