Position Overview

Casual per diem CRNA position at UPMC Washington Hospital in Washington, PA. Flexible scheduling for staffing support with day shifts only.

Schedule and Call

Shifts are 6:30a-3p or 6:30a-5p as needed. No nights, weekends, holidays, or beeper call.

Practice Details

MD supervision model. Cases include Women's Health/OB, General Surgery (Robotic), Urology, GI, ENT, Neuro Spine, Ortho, and Cardiology including Cath Lab and Diagnostic Procedures.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and related care including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support. Accountable for controlled substances per policy. Assist with teaching newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs. Participate in quality improvement processes.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program. Currently licensed as RN in Pennsylvania. Board certified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists. AHA-approved BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Master's degree preferred.
