Position Overview

General Anesthesiologist role at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, the flagship academic hospital of Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Full-time position in a Level I trauma center with more than 70 anesthesiologists and 150 CRNAs.

Key Responsibilities

Work in high-acuity environment with opportunities in cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, obstetric and pediatric anesthesia, orthopedic and regional anesthesia, critical care, perioperative medicine, and solid organ transplant anesthesia.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology. Valid Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one required.

Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest is a Level I trauma center and teaching hospital. Academic engagement includes teaching residents and fellows through the anesthesiology residency program beginning summer 2026, plus research and quality improvement initiatives. Part of Jefferson Health with affiliation to Thomas Jefferson University.

Compensation & Benefits
