Position Overview

Locum tenens Cardiac Anesthesiologist assignment in Poughkeepsie, New York, providing high-acuity cardiac anesthesia and perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthetic care for cardiac and other surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and verify informed consent.
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia.
• Monitor and manage physiological conditions.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and perioperative team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent cardiac anesthesiology experience.
• MD or DO from accredited medical school.
• Completed anesthesiology residency.
• Board certification or fellowship training in anesthesiology with cardiac expertise.
• TEE certification required.
• Current unrestricted New York physician license.

Schedule and Call

• Approximately 32 hours per week.
• Day shifts with 16-hour duration.
• No in-house, weeknight, weekend, or holiday call.

Compensation

• Weekly estimated pay: $11,620-$12,250.
• 1099 contract position.

Poughkeepsie, NY in the Hudson Valley with river views and outdoor recreation access.

Assignment Details
