No Call Locum CRNA | Sumter, SC

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced, NBCRNA-certified CRNA for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Sumter, South Carolina.

This opportunity offers a consistent four-day workweek, 10-hour daytime shifts, no call, and a bread-and-butter anesthesia case mix.

Providers will deliver anesthesia care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Pediatric anesthesia experience is required.

Assignment Highlights

• $260/hour all-inclusive compensation
• 13-week assignment beginning 12/21/2026
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Daytime hours, approximately 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• No call or regularly scheduled weekends
• Bread-and-butter anesthesia
• Pediatric through adult patient population
• No cardiac anesthesia
• No neurosurgical anesthesia
• No obstetric anesthesia
• Approximately 15-30 patients per day
• Epic EMR
• All approved orientation hours billable
• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
• Active South Carolina license required
• NBCRNA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Provider must reside at least 60 miles from the facility
• All-inclusive compensation; no separate travel reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluate patient readiness.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
• Provide anesthesia for general surgical procedures.
• Deliver anesthesia care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
• Perform airway management and continuous intraoperative monitoring.
• Manage anesthesia medications, fluids, and physiological responses.
• Respond appropriately to anesthesia-related emergencies.
• Coordinate care with the surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Provide postoperative assessments and patient handoffs.
• Maintain accurate and timely Epic documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current NBCRNA certification
• Active South Carolina CRNA/APRN license
• Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification
• Recent pediatric anesthesia experience
• Experience with bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases
• Epic EMR experience
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Residence at least 60 miles from the facility

Compensation

The regular compensation rate is $260/hour all-inclusive. Overtime and holiday compensation is $351/hour when applicable.

Location

Sumter offers a welcoming community, parks, restaurants, and access to regional outdoor recreation. Located approximately 45 miles east of Columbia, the area provides a convenient central South Carolina location.
