Position Overview

The Advanced Practice Nurse Anesthesia provides high quality, cost-effective patient care that supports established specialty practice objectives and strategic organizational goals at AtlantiCare.

Key Responsibilities

This position administers various types of anesthetics according to established medical practices and as directed by the Anesthesiologist. The APN monitors and supports life functions during the peri-operative period and recognizes and reports any abnormal patient responses to the Anesthesiologist. Patient care is delivered in a cost-effective manner.

Qualifications

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or as grandfathered by NJ Law. Current licensure as a RN in the State of NJ and certified by the State Board of Nursing. Certification within area of specialty required. BLSHCP required.
