Position Overview

Chief CRNA full-time position at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. The 275-bed hospital provides comprehensive services including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation.

Practice Model

Care team model with 30 anesthesiologists and 100 CRNAs. Focus on giving everyone a voice while supporting, respecting, and helping deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments

Orthopedic, general, GI, cardiac, pulmonary, endovascular, electrophysiology, neurosurgery, GYN, and a small amount of pediatric anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
