Position Overview

Anesthesiologist position providing clinical anesthesia services at VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Aurora, Colorado. Services cover inpatients and outpatients. Staff anesthesiologists supervise residents and CRNAs or provide care independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia care independently or under supervision
• Examine patients pre- and post-anesthesia
• Manage anesthetic period and post-anesthesia care
• Supervise residents and CRNAs per medical direction criteria
• Contribute to teaching and research at University of Colorado School of Medicine

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent from accredited institution
• U.S. citizenship
• Full unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory
• Proficiency in English
• Board certification or eligibility implied for clinical role

Schedule

7 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday. Day shift only.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range $385,000 - $400,000 per year. Recruitment incentive authorized. Education Debt Reduction Program up to $200,000. 50-55 days paid time off per year.
