Position Overview
Part-time CRNA position at Canonsburg Hospital providing anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients.
- Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care.
- Participates in performance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adheres to legal and ethical standards of nursing and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Acts as a clinical resource to the interdisciplinary health care team.
Qualifications
- Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the eNLC.
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS from American Heart Association.
- Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.
