Position Overview

Part-time CRNA position at Wexford Hospital in Wexford, Pennsylvania. The role provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting. 30+ hours per week are bonus eligible.

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements the anesthetic management for all patients presenting for anesthesia care. Provides accurate medical record documentation.
• Provides continuous observation of patients under anesthetic care and corrects abnormal patient responses. Involves attending physician regarding plan of care.
• Participates, develops, and implements performance and/or quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to the legal and ethical standards of nursing and of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
• Acts as a clinical resource to interdisciplinary health care team. May serve as a mentor to new staff or students.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
• CPR, American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
