Position Overview

1099 Anesthesiologist position at Christus Santa Rosa Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. The role offers $590,000 compensation with 9 weeks off annually.

Schedule and Call

Schedule runs 7a-3p Monday through Friday. Approximately 10 weekend call shifts per year. MDs handle primary OR call and backup OB call on weekends with one MD and one CRNA on call. Average daily coverage includes 6 rooms with 6 CRNAs, 2 MDs, and a float CRNA.

Practice Model

Team consists of 3 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs. Case types include general surgery, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, neuro, and pain management. OB covered primarily by dedicated CRNA team on 24-hour shifts. Most cases involve adult patients. No trauma, transplant, or CV coverage required.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified. Proficiency in regional blocks and peripheral nerve blocks required.
