Position Overview

Full-time Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist position at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves care of high-risk pediatric cardiac patients for non-cardiac surgery and cardiac catheterizations, plus general pediatric cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage 4-5 cases per day including general, cardiac, ENT, GI, and cath lab procedures for ages 0-18.
• Provide pre-anesthesia evaluation for pediatric patients.
• Participate in care of children in general operating rooms and the congenital heart program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship.
• ABA board certified.
• Minimum three years of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology experience.

Schedule and Call

• Standard 8-hour shifts.
• Call frequency 1:3, maximum 10 days per month.
