Position Overview

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. The role covers inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory surgery center cases in a productivity-based model.

Compensation

Salary range is $575,000 to $700,000+ annually. Compensation follows a productivity model allowing candidates to schedule and perform their own cases alongside team-based care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia services across hospital and ambulatory settings
• Participate in call coverage with fair scheduling
• Perform outpatient procedures at the ASC with lifestyle-focused schedules excluding nights, weekends, and call
• Support quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with CRNAs in back-up coverage rotations

Practice Details

Regional skills preferred. No hearts, no trauma, no transplants. Balanced scheduling includes designated post-call days off.

Qualifications

Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist. New Jersey license required.
