Position Overview

Full-time General Anesthesiologist role at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health in Lancaster, PA. The team covers Lancaster General Hospital (Level 1 trauma center), Women and Babies Hospital, and 2 outpatient surgery centers with over 32,000 anesthetics annually including 600 cardiac cases.

Practice Details

Medical direction model at 3:1 ratio with some direct care. In-house call shared equally with 2 physicians in-house daily plus separate cardiac call team and 2 backup physicians at night. Teaching opportunities for SRNAs and primary care residents.

Team Composition

38 physicians, over 70 CRNAs, and 24 anesthesia techs covering more than 50 anesthetizing locations daily.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited School of Medicine. Graduate of ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology required. Eligible for unrestricted PA Medical License. Provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs.
