General and Pediatric Anesthesiologist | New Brunswick, NJ

Position Overview

Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ is bringing its Anesthesia service line in-house and seeking General and Pediatric Anesthesiologists.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for adult and pediatric cases including neurosurgery, orthopedic, vascular, bariatric, gynecologic, and neonatal surgery. Support high-volume obstetric program with over 5,500 deliveries annually.

Qualifications

Completion of ACGME/AOA-accredited Anesthesiology Residency. Board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology. NJ MD/DO license, DEA, CDS. ACLS and PALS certifications required.

478-bed acute care teaching hospital. Faith-based non-profit. High-acuity surgical and obstetric programs. 7 consecutive Magnet Recognition with Distinction. 'A' Leapfrog Safety Grade.

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation $600,000-$725,000. Generous sign-on bonus. 9 weeks PTO annually. 401(k) with 5% match plus 457(b) option. CME reimbursement. Full malpractice coverage. Complete medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance. PSLF eligible.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Full-time and part-time options available. Full call and non-call tracks. 4-5 calls or late shifts per month with overtime opportunities. Directorship stipends available for OB and Pediatric Anesthesia.
