Position Overview
Locum tenens cardiovascular anesthesiologist position in Houston, Texas. Assignment runs November 9-13, 2026 for one week.
Schedule and Call
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eight-hour daytime shifts. No call. No weekend coverage. Forty hours per week.
Compensation
Weekly estimated pay $3,380-$3,930. 1099 contract position.
Requirements
Board certification in anesthesiology. TEE certification. Active Texas medical license. Active DEA registration. At least one year of cardiovascular anesthesiology experience. Clean credentialing record.
Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia care for cardiovascular procedures. Perform preoperative evaluations. Administer and monitor anesthesia. Apply TEE expertise. Collaborate with care team. Complete postoperative evaluations. Document in Meditech EMR.
Facility and Location
Houston, Texas. Average daily volume approximately 25 patients.
