CRNA with Call and Training | Omaha, NE

Position Overview

CRNA position at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE. Provide anesthesia services for surgical patients and participate in training student nurse anesthetists.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia services vital to patient safety and comfort.
• Train student nurse anesthetists rotating through the department.
• Follow all operating room, department, and hospital rules.
• Participate in all CRNA call assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) with 25 years of experience.
• CRNA license in Nebraska upon hire.
• RN license in Nebraska or compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Knowledge of managing age-specific needs from pediatric to geriatric.
• Proficiency in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and IV sedation.
• Capability in Anesthesia Care Team approach.
• Knowledge or training in managing anesthesia for solid organ transplants (excluding heart and lung).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior CRNA experience in the operating room.
• Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree.
