Position Overview

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist provides high quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia to pediatric and adult patients at Medical Center-Prosper in the Prosper Anesthesiology department. The CRNA practices in collaboration and under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist for surgical, diagnostic, emergency, and therapeutic procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia with a Masters of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required. Texas professional registered nurse license and advance practice nurse license needed. Recognition from the State Board of Nurse Examiners as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Certified or re-certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist. American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support required.

Schedule

Varying shifts with standard weekly hours of 40.
