Position Overview
Locum CRNA role at Sanford Health in Sheldon, IA. Provides independent coverage for general procedures and call.
Schedule and Call
On-call coverage for 1 provider 2 weeks per month or 2 providers 1 week per month. Call runs Sunday 7:00pm to Sunday 7:00pm. Procedures typically Monday-Friday 7:30am-2:00pm.
Case Mix
General surgery, C-sections, minor ortho surgeries. OB epidural coverage required (approximately 10 OB patients per month). Also covers ER intubation and sedation procedures.
Responsibilities
Administers anesthesia or sedation. Develops pre-anesthetic plans. Monitors patients with hemodynamic techniques. Collaborates with providers. Evaluates diagnostic tests as needed.
Qualifications
Current unencumbered CRNA licensure. NBCRNA certification required. ACLS preferred. Bachelor of Science in advanced practice required; master's or DNP preferred.
