Position Overview

Full-time CRNA position at Ochsner Health in Slidell, LA. Administers anesthesia to patients during surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-producing clinical procedures under physician supervision in a collaborative model.

Qualifications

Master's degree from an AANA-accredited school of nurse anesthesia required. APRN license in Louisiana, AANA certification, and BCLS from American Heart Association required. No prior work experience needed. New graduates accepted.

Job Duties

Document patient procedures and incidents. Assess patients before, during, and after anesthesia. Ensure patient safety using accepted techniques. Act as liaison to surgeons, anesthesiologists, patients, and families. Participate in quality assurance and professional development. Adapt to specific patient populations.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule including 24/7, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability.
