Position Overview
PRN General Anesthesiologist role at Ochsner Health in Slidell, LA. The position is in the North Shore Anesthesia group covering Covington ASC, Slidell East, Slidell Main, and Hancock.
Key Responsibilities
Coverage includes basic peds, OB, and cardiac cases. Must be comfortable working with community and Ochsner surgeons and proceduralists.
Qualifications
Candidates must be BC/BE in Anesthesiology. Physicians with experience or directly from training are welcomed. Requires commitment to using comprehensive electronic medical records (Epic).
Facility Details
Ochsner Medical Center - North Shore is a full-service, 165-bed acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency room and the only PICU on the North Shore. The North Shore program is part of the Department of Anesthesiology with over 70 anesthesiologists, 100 CRNAs, and more than 30 house staff with annual case volume exceeding 52,000.
