Position Overview

Day shift CRNA role at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The position provides anesthesia services in inpatient and outpatient settings for patients of varying complexity.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Compensation

Salary range $184,976 to $268,152 per year. Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) up to $200,000. 50 days paid time off annually. Traditional federal pension with 5-year vesting and federal 401K with up to 5% VA contributions. Federal health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term care insurance options.

Duties

Administer anesthesia including pre-anesthesia evaluation, induction, maintenance, emergence, and post-anesthesia care. Develop comprehensive anesthesia plans. Collaborate with healthcare teams. Serve as preceptor and resource for trainees. Prescribe preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative medications as privileged.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship. Full and unrestricted RN and CRNA licensure. English language proficiency. Background investigation and pre-employment physical required. Seasonal influenza vaccination required.
