Position Overview

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at UW Health in Madison, WI. FTE options from 0.75 to 1.0 with 8, 10, 12, or 14 hour shifts available.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range $238,000 - $333,000 per year. Practicing CRNAs may receive up to $75,000 sign-on bonus. New graduate students eligible for up to $150,000 student loan repayment over five years. Relocation assistance may be available. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave, 47 days PTO (22 vacation, 12 sick, 8 holidays, 5 CME), conference allowance, tuition benefits, and wellness programs.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Primary work location assigned but flexibility required across University Hospital, American Family Children's Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Madison Surgery Center, and Digestive Health Center. Weekend, night, holiday, and pager call may apply at some locations. Weekend and PM shifts optional for additional compensation.

Practice Details

Medically directed care model with UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty. Academic setting with SRNA education opportunities. Case mix includes neuro, spines, ortho trauma, ob/gyn, acute general surgery, transplant, plastics, trauma, cath lab, and outpatient surgery.

Qualifications

Masters or Doctorate from accredited CRNA program. Active RN license in WI. Active NBCRNA certification.
