Pediatric CRNA/CAA | Madison, WI

Position Overview

UW Health seeks a CRNA or CAA for pediatric and adult anesthesia care at American Family Children's Hospital and Madison Surgery Center in Madison, WI. FTE ranges from 0.75 to 1.0 with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. The role operates in a medically directed model with 50% pediatric and 50% adult cases including ENT, plastics, GI, neuro, ortho trauma, spines, transplant, and outpatient procedures.

Schedule and Call

Primary locations are American Family Children's Hospital and Madison Surgery Center. Occasional evening work is part of FTE. Weekend and holiday coverage is pager call from home. Elective opportunities exist at University Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Eastpark Medical Center, and Digestive Health Center.

Compensation

Pay range is $238,000-$333,000 per year. New graduate students may qualify for up to $150,000 student loan repayment over five years. Practicing CRNAs and CAAs may receive up to a $75,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements are a master's or doctorate from an accredited CRNA or AA program, active Wisconsin licensure, and national certification (NBCRNA for CRNAs or NCCAA for CAAs). New graduates are eligible.

Practice Setting

The position is in an academic environment with opportunities to contribute to SRNA or SAA education. UW Health is a Level One Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV NICU facility.
