Position Overview

Nemours Children's Hospital Florida seeks a Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to guide services in Jacksonville and Orlando. The role provides strategic direction and management of the clinical department in collaboration with the Director of the Nemours Cardiac Center Florida.

Key Responsibilities

Provide visionary leadership for the Cardiac Anesthesia Program. Participate in clinical activities, monitor division performance, ensure high-quality care, and support academic, research, and administrative goals.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree. ABA board certification with subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesia. Experience or additional training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia. Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license. Academic leadership experience for Associate Professor or Professor appointment at University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

Nemours Children's Hospital Florida in Orlando (Lake Nona) is home to a nationally recognized pediatric cardiac center. The center performs more than 125 pediatric heart surgeries annually, offers fetal cardiology through adult congenital care, and maintains advanced imaging, 3D printing, and a dedicated research department.
