Position Overview

Faculty General Anesthesiologist position in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cases including orthopedics, GYN, community OB, abdominal, general vascular, and kidney transplants.
• Supervise residents, CRNAs, and SRNAs.
• Perform cases independently when required.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring trainees, departmental conferences, and faculty meetings.

Qualifications

• Completed US-approved residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent training and certification.
• Board eligibility or certification in Anesthesiology required.
• Comfort with supervising trainees and performing own cases.

Schedule and Call

Call expected 3-4 overnight calls per month, with some from home. Evening and weekend calls may also be required.
