Position Overview
The University of Kansas Health System seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist at Great Bend Hospital. The role involves working with one anesthesiologist and two CRNAs.
Schedule and Call
Operating room schedule runs Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday add-ons. Call is shared equitably and will not exceed a 1:3 ratio.
Case Mix
Cases include orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, and podiatry.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree required. Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology or equivalent. Strong communication and collaborative skills essential.
Compensation and Benefits
Employed position with competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, annual CME allowance, sign-on bonus, and relocation allowance.
Facility Details
Great Bend Hospital is a 33-bed not-for-profit facility with Level IV trauma services, orthopedic, obstetric, and surgical units.
