Position Overview

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position at Bell Hospital, part of The University of Kansas Health System academic medical center in Kansas City, KS. Both new graduates and experienced CRNAs are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

CRNAs perform full range of procedures across transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery, OB, and cardiac cases. Integrated members of care team with 120+ CRNAs and 65 anesthesiologists.

Qualifications

Successful completion of nurse anesthesia program and certification required. Eligibility for Kansas licensure required. New graduates and SRNAs eligible for up to $25,000 stipend with early commitment.

Facility Details

1045-bed Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center. Magnet designation. Centers for advanced heart care, transplantation, stroke, and cancer.

Compensation & Benefits

$20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced CRNAs. Employer-funded retirement plan. Relocation stipend for moves over 50 miles. Schedule & Call Requirements

Flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts and 12-20 scheduled shifts per month. Set day off available. Established night team covers majority of call. Average 12 calls per year with pre- and post-call day off. Additional compensation for call.
