Position Overview

Per diem Anesthesiologist role at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA. The position offers $300 per hour with additional earning opportunities through call participation.

Practice Environment

The Anesthesiology department includes 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 residents. Services cover up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily including acute care ORs, cardiac ORs, obstetrics, GI/endo, cath lab, interventional radiology, and a hospital ambulatory surgery center. Annual case volume is approximately 14,300 cases with 3,000 births.

Qualifications

Active California state license, BC/BE, ACLS, BLS, and DEA required. Physicians completing residency are welcome to apply.

Compensation and Benefits

$300 per hour. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Medical professional liability insurance provided.

St. Joseph's Medical Center is a 355-bed hospital in the CommonSpirit system. It is the largest hospital in San Joaquin County with the 10th busiest cardiothoracic department in California.
