Position Overview

1099 Cardiac Anesthesiologist position at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on cardiac anesthesia with exposure to general, ortho, urology, neuro, peds, and OB cases.

Compensation

1099 rate of $275 per hour.

Schedule and Call

Shifts run 7 am to 5 pm or 7 am to 7 pm. Call frequency is 1-2 times per week with post-call day off. Backup call requires 30-minute response time.

Practice Environment

10 ORs plus 2 OB rooms. 427-bed Level II trauma center. Average annual volume of 7,388 cases and 1,055 births. Clinicians provide 100% clinical care.

Qualifications

Board certification required. Active California license, DEA, and state CDS required. ACLS, PALS, and BLS required. New graduates are welcomed.
