General Anesthesiologist with OB | Yonkers, NY

Position Overview

Montefiore Department of Anesthesiology seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist for St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY, covering Andrus and Dobbs Ferry locations. The role supports OR and non-OR procedures plus obstetric anesthesia with day shifts, in-house call, and beeper call for 24/7 coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia across surgical specialties in OR and non-OR settings including endoscopy.
• Provide obstetric anesthesia including labor analgesia and C-sections.
• Perform pre-op evaluations and manage intraoperative and postoperative care.
• Handle emergency airway management, rapid responses, and code team duties.
• Participate in in-house and beeper call rotations.
• Provide solo coverage and supervise CRNAs in up to 3-4 rooms.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completed anesthesia residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in anesthesiology.
• New York State medical license.
• Strong clinical and communication skills; OB experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $480,000-$510,000. Additional call pay up to or above $80,000. Sign-on and retention bonuses totaling $100,000. Productivity bonuses up to $24,000. Total potential compensation exceeds $700,000. Benefits include LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and 403(b).
