Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Administer intravenous, inhalation, and other anesthetics. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation. Select, assemble, and test equipment. Monitor patient condition during procedures. Provide care across all areas of the anesthesia department.

Qualifications

Master's degree in anesthesiology required. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Anesthesiology assistant certification required. One or more years of anesthesia experience preferred.

Facility Details

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital is a Level II trauma center with 19 operating rooms (1 hybrid), 2 dedicated OB operating rooms, and 4 endoscopy procedure rooms. Case mix includes general, urology, ortho, vascular, thoracic, neuro, plastics, ENT, and endo.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary starts at $260,000. Productivity bonus eligible based on ASA billable units. $30,000 commitment bonus with 24-month commitment or $50,000 living assistance loan with 36-month commitment. Incentive pay and call pay available. Retirement plan matching. PTO, holidays, CME days, and allowance. Relocation assistance available. No non-compete clause and no contract.
