Position Overview

Geisinger seeks a board eligible or certified General or Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across a varied case mix including TEE, MRI, and IR procedures in 12 operating rooms plus additional suites.

Schedule and Call

Flexible scheduling with minimal call and weekend or holiday shifts. Cross-coverage at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre and overtime opportunities available.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine required. Pennsylvania medical license required. Board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology required.

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center with 12 operating rooms, 2 EP suites, 4 endoscopy rooms, and 2 c-section suites.
