Position Overview

CRNA position at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center and Cedar Falls Medical Center under medical direction of an anesthesiologist.

Key Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures. Perform pre- and post-operative evaluations and document in patient charts.

Qualifications

Graduate of approved CRNA program. Certified by National Board of Certification for Nurse Anesthetists. Federal and State Controlled Substance Prescribing Authority. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certifications required. New graduates encouraged to apply.

Facility Details

Practice includes 11 anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs. Work at Waterloo Medical Center and Cedar Falls Medical Center.

Compensation & Benefits

$286,000 salary guarantee. $50K commencement bonus. $15K relocation allowance. Employer paid malpractice and tail coverage. Health insurance with shared premium and 3 plan options. 2 dental and 2 vision plans. 403(b) retirement with employer match. Employer paid short term disability. Paid time off starting at 26 days per year. $2,000 CME and license allowance per year. Non-profit qualifying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Call no more than 1 night per week.
