Position Overview

PRN CRNA position at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Level 1 trauma facility handling 25,000 OR cases and 22,000 NORA cases annually.

Key Responsibilities

Opportunities include cardiac, pediatric, OB/GYN, regional anesthesia, labor epidurals, neonates, NORA, adult/peds hearts, and liver transplant. Shift options include days, afternoons, nights, overnight call with 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour lengths and optional overtime.

Qualifications

NC RN licensure, graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia school, CRNA licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA required. Ability to perform peds liver transplants, peds cardiac, spinals, and epidurals.

Carolinas Medical Center is the region's only Level 1 trauma center and approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas, and liver. It is one of North Carolina's 5 Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals with residency training and is a regional campus for Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Magnet designated. The hospital has 110 CRNAs.

Wide variety of shifts including days, afternoons, nights, overnight call. 8, 10, 12, or 24-hour options available with optional overtime.
