Position Overview
PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist position at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Provides anesthesia services including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
Key Responsibilities
- Induction and maintenance of anesthesia, life support functions, and post-anesthesia care
- Pre-anesthesia assessment and equipment checks
- Post-anesthesia duties including epidural pain relief
- Narcotic accounting and emergency response including Code Blue
- May provide labor analgesia
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- RN license and CRNA certification
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license and DEA registration
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification within 6 months as required
- No experience required
Schedule
PRN status with 0 hours per week guaranteed. May include 24/7 call and weekend coverage as needed.
Compensation
Pay range $175.00 per hour. Not benefits eligible.
