Position Overview

Outpatient CRNA position at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC. Full-time role with 40 hours per week on the Outpatient Anesthesia Team.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range $99.75 - $159.60 per hour. SRNA education assistance up to $140,000. CME reimbursement up to $2,500 plus 5 PTO days per year. PTO accrual starts at 30 days per year. Six weeks paid birthing-mother maternity leave and four weeks paid parental leave. Retirement includes dollar-for-dollar match up to 3% plus 3% automatic non-elective contribution. Transition bonus up to $7,500.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for inpatient procedures using safe techniques. Precept Student Nurse Anesthetists. Use medical decision-making for peri-operative care. Collaborate with medical team. Maintain patient records. Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism.

Qualifications

Graduation from accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program with Master's degree or higher. RN licensure in North Carolina. Certification as Nurse Anesthetist by National Board. Current ACLS and BLS. Clinical competency within scope of privileges. Strong communication skills.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a level 1 trauma center and nationally recognized academic health system. New freestanding surgery center completed in 2025. Cases include Orthopedic, Vascular, Burns, Cardiothoracic, Neurology, ENT, General/Abdominal, Robotic, Gynecology, plus EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and TEE.
