Position Overview

Locum Tenens CRNA position in Honolulu, HI providing anesthesia services at a Level 1 trauma center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, neurosurgery, robotics, endoscopy, gynecology, plastic surgery, and non-OR anesthesia. Assist with trauma alerts, code blue activations, and difficult airway management.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved nurse anesthesia program. Certified and in good standing with the NBCRNA. Current Hawaii RN and APRN licenses. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Prior CRNA experience preferred.

Facility Details

The Queen's Medical Center - Punchbowl at 1301 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, HI 96813 and The Queen's Medical Center - West Oahu at 91-2141 Fort Weaver Road, Ewa Beach, HI 96706. Level 1 trauma center with 18 main operating rooms, 6 same-day surgery suites, and additional procedure rooms including obstetrics.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Days vary.

Practice Model

Anesthesia coverage provided by solo anesthesiologists or MDs/CRNAs in a care team model with 1:3 medical direction ratio.
