Position Overview
Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist position in Newport News, Virginia for 52 weeks.
Schedule and Call
16-hour day shifts with required weeknight and weekend call.
Case Mix
General anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia, OB anesthesia, and ENT anesthesia.
Practice Model
Collaborative anesthesia department with MD supervision of CRNAs. Epic charting system.
Compensation
Estimated weekly pay $8,910 - $9,390. 1099 contract position.
Requirements
M.D. or D.O. from accredited medical school. Completion of approved anesthesiology residency. Board certification or fellowship required. Current physician license with willingness to obtain Virginia licensure. At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience. ECFMG and FLEX as applicable.
