Position Overview

Locum Tenens CRNA position in Petersburg, VA 23805 for a 13-week assignment from June 8, 2026 to September 5, 2026.

Schedule & Call Requirements

4 shifts per week with 8-hour day shifts. 10- and 12-hour options possible. Holiday coverage may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

Weekly estimated pay of $5,050 to $5,320. Housing stipend of $110 per day. Car rental or mileage stipend of $250 per week. 1099 contract with no employee benefits.

Practice Model

Collaborative anesthesia care team with 1:4 MD to CRNA supervisory ratio. Cases include general, orthopedic, OB, and pediatric anesthesia. Epic EMR.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required. Current RN license and CRNA board certification. Graduation from accredited nurse anesthesia program. AANA certification. Eligible for Virginia license.

Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia evaluations, informed consent, induction/maintenance/emergence from anesthesia, physiologic monitoring, perioperative management, documentation in Epic, and collaboration with the perioperative team.
