Position Overview

Locum Tenens CRNA position at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Saint Albans City, VT. The role covers general, orthopedic, pediatric, obstetric, and trauma cases with a collaborative team model.

Schedule and Call

Monday through Friday, 5 shifts per week. 8-hour day shifts (7am-3pm or late room 7am-5pm). Call from 3pm-7am approximately once per week with 30-minute response time.

Compensation

Weekly estimated pay of $7,920 to $8,350. 1099 contract position.

Practice Details

Team model with 3 CRNAs and 2 MDs. 5 operating rooms. EMR system is Medaxion. Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days with temporary privileges available.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years CRNA experience in perioperative and regional anesthesia. Active Vermont CRNA license required. AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications. Current DEA registration. Proof of case logs for epidurals, spinals, and peripheral nerve blocks. Clear background and malpractice history.

Case Mix

Orthopedics, general surgery, endoscopy, OB/GYN including C-sections and VBACs, pediatrics, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and plastics. Approximately 380 deliveries per year. Supervised model at approximately 60% supervision.
