Position Overview

Locum tenens general anesthesiologist role in Cumberland, Maryland. 32 hours per week on 16-hour day shifts. Start date July 7, 2026. Duration approximately 56 weeks. Weekly pay $8,860 to $9,340.

Key Responsibilities

Direct anesthesia department activities. Provide medical management for surgical patients. Perform pre-anesthesia assessments. Manage induction maintenance and emergence. Monitor physiological status. Collaborate with care team.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree. Completed anesthesiology residency. Board certification required. Maryland license eligibility. One year anesthesiology experience required. Ability to supervise CRNAs. Experience with general OB and pediatric anesthesia preferred.
