Position Overview
Locum tenens CRNA needed for general anesthesia in Norfolk, VA. Assignment runs November 30, 2026 through July 2, 2027 with possible extension.
Schedule and Call
Five shifts per week totaling 36 hours. Primarily 8-hour days with possible 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts. Must be open to weeknight and weekend call at approximately 1:10 frequency.
Compensation
Weekly estimated pay $6,755 to $7,506 on 1099 contract.
Case Mix
General anesthesia, cardiac cath lab, orthopedic, spine, vascular, maternity, and general surgery. Adult cases required. Proficiency in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia required. Experience with obstetrical anesthesia, ventilation management, and central or arterial line insertion required.
Requirements
Current CRNA licensure and certification. Comfort managing complex vascular and orthopedic cases. Flexible schedule and call participation required.
