Position Overview

Locum Tenens CRNA position for general anesthesia in Charlottesville, Virginia. The role covers inpatient and outpatient surgical environments at an academic medical center.

Schedule and Call Requirements

12-hour day shifts with options for 3 x 12- to 13-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts. Schedule includes 3-4 shifts per week and one rotating Saturday each month. No call required.

Compensation

Weekly estimated pay of $6,180 to $6,510. This is a 1099 contract position with no employee benefits.

Contract Details

13-week contract starting December 7, 2026. Credentialing takes approximately 30 days. EMR is Epic.

Requirements

Active Virginia CRNA license, board certification, ACLS and BLS through AHA. Minimum 2 years CRNA experience required. Academic medical center or Level I trauma experience preferred. Recent inpatient experience and comfort with ASA 3+ patients preferred. COVID-19 and flu vaccination required. Two professional references needed.
