Position Overview

Locum tenens CRNA role in Burlington, North Carolina providing general anesthesia across multiple clinical sites. Assignment runs 26 weeks starting January 2, 2026, with potential extension.

Schedule and Call

Five shifts per week totaling 36-40 hours. Options for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour days with rotation between sites. Providers must commit to at least 80 hours per month. Optional weeknight call (3p-7a) and weekend call (7a-7a) with 2 CRNAs and 1 MD on call.

Case Mix

Cases include general, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN (approximately 1,000 deliveries per year), urology, healthy pediatric dental and ENT, cataracts, orthopedics without total joints, and endoscopy. Epidurals performed during daytime shifts.

Practice Model

Medically supervised anesthesia care team model. Rotating between sites and adapting to varied shift schedules required.

Requirements

Active North Carolina CRNA license. Minimum 2 years clinical or hospital CRNA experience. Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates with complete credentialing file. Epic EMR experience preferred.

Compensation

1099 contract position. No employee benefits included.
